Vouchstone

A standing book for VOUC.

Standing decides where the cut goes.

Vouchstone is a standing book that turns a held VOUC balance into the destination of the Trade Cut.

Hold Bench

Hold Span

Keep VOUC through settlements. Standing accrues only this way, and only on the wallet that holds.

The Scale

90,000

VOUC in the ETH Market at launch. Every transfer reads Standing on the live path.

Cut Fork

2%

Trade Cut. Long Standing sends it to Supply Rest. No Standing sends it to Book Thicken.

Two instruments.

Standing

A mark on the wallet. It cannot be bought, sent, or transferred. It ends when the wallet's VOUC balance reaches zero. Standing is a mark, not a token and not the Trade Cut.

Trade Cut

Two percent on every trade. Standing chooses only its destination: Supply Rest or Book Thicken. The cut itself never becomes Standing.

Four acts of the loop.

Hold Span

Stay in the book.

A Stone Holder keeps VOUC through settlements. That is the only path by which Standing can grow.

Standing

The mark sits on the wallet.

You cannot acquire another wallet's history. You cannot gift yours. The mark does not travel with VOUC that leaves.

Live Read

The transfer looks up Standing.

Every transfer reads and updates Standing on the live path. The destination is decided at that instant, not by a later grant.

Cut Route

The cut is sent.

Long Standing: Supply Rest, units exit the book. No Standing: Book Thicken, units stay in the ETH Market.

Questions.

Must a Stone Holder install extra software?

No. VOUC trades on the ETH Market against ETH. A Stone Holder is a wallet with a balance.

What stops the Trade Cut from changing?

Trade Cut cannot be rewritten. Two percent is the figure in the contract.

Can Hold Span be omitted or aimed?

Hold Span is the cadence rule and cannot be rewritten. Standing accrues by holding through settlements. Nobody can skip a settlement for a chosen wallet or aim the cadence.

Where do Supply Rest units go?

They exit the book. They are never minted again. They never re-enter the ETH Market.

Can anyone shift my VOUC?

No. The deployer has no path to shift a Stone Holder's VOUC, stop the ETH Market, or mint VOUC again.

What happens if I sell my whole balance?

Standing on that wallet ends. After the wallet holds again, the next Trade Cut is treated as Standing none until Hold Span has accrued a new mark.

What happens during a quiet book?

If no trade occurs, no Trade Cut is taken. Standing on wallets that still hold is unchanged by the absence of a trade.

Where does the address appear?

The address slot on this property fills once the address slot fills. Until then the slot is not shown.

Protocol Note.

Vouchstone issues 90,000 VOUC. The whole issue sits inside the ETH Market at launch. The ETH Market is Uniswap version 4, Ethereum, quoted in ETH. Vouchstone keeps a single book and a single quote.

A trade takes a Trade Cut of 2%. That is the only charge. The Trade Cut does not go to a person and it does not pause for a later instruction. Its destination is read from the sender's Standing at the instant of the trade.

Standing is a mark on a wallet. A wallet accrues Standing by holding VOUC through Hold Span. Standing cannot be bought. Standing cannot be sent. Standing cannot be transferred. When a wallet's VOUC balance reaches zero, Standing on that wallet is gone. Nobody can award Standing. There is no grant. Nobody can revoke it except the rule itself: sell the whole balance, and the mark ends.

If the sender's Standing is long, the Trade Cut goes to Supply Rest. Those VOUC exit the book and are never minted again. If the sender's Standing is none, the Trade Cut goes to Book Thicken. Those VOUC stay on the ETH Market and the book gets deeper.

Every transfer reads and updates Standing on the live path. The Scale does this as part of the transfer, not as a later pass. A reader who wants to know why a given Trade Cut went to Supply Rest or to Book Thicken looks at the sender's Standing at that instant.

Trade Cut, Hold Span, and the 90,000 VOUC issue cannot be rewritten. Nobody can shift a Stone Holder's balance, stop the ETH Market, or mint VOUC again. The deployer has no path to move VOUC out of a wallet, no path to pause trading, and no path to reissue units that have gone to Supply Rest.

A Stone Holder can expect three things. First, the issue is 90,000 VOUC and it is already in the ETH Market at launch. Second, every trade they send will pay a 2% Trade Cut whose destination follows their Standing. Third, Standing will not follow VOUC that leaves the wallet; it lives on the wallet, and it ends when the balance is zero.

Worked cut. A Stone Holder sells 500 VOUC. The Trade Cut is 10 VOUC. If that wallet's Standing is long, 10 VOUC go to Supply Rest. If that wallet's Standing is none, 10 VOUC stay in the ETH Market as Book Thicken. The remaining 490 VOUC are the sale.

This Protocol Note states the full rules as they stand. Figures absent from this note are not parameters of Vouchstone. The Specification restates these rules with tables.
